MARKUS
LÖFFLER, Ph.D. (Clemson Univ.)
I was born 1971 in Munich,
Germany. I studied Electrical Engineering at the
Technische Universität München. Wanting more than just studying, I got
involved in the organization of many professional
multimedia slide shows,
which combined my interests in travelling, arts, and technics.
After living in Munich for 25 years, I went to
Clemson University
, South Carolina, USA. At the
Controls and Robotics Group in Clemson, I did
my diploma thesis for 8 months, and later my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering. More information
is on my research page. Being part of the startup company
Quality Real-Time Systems (QRTS)
gave me the chance of turning research work into finished products,
selling these products and supporting them.
Before returning to Munich, I went for four months to Central and South America for travelling,
improving my Spanish, and getting to know new cultures. You can read
here
and in the
Yahoo Group "markustrip"
about this journey.
Currently, I'm working in Munich for the automotive company Telemotive AG.
